What is with the mold everywhere inside on the ventilation system? The place has an awful smell as soon as you walk in. The mold is so prolific it looks like it has been neglected a very long time. I am concerned about the workers inside there all day. I was looking forward to trying this place because of the olive oil advertised in the food, but won’t be back after seeing this. It doesn’t matter how good the food is. Water from the moldy ventilation system was dripping on the floor. This shouldn’t be acceptable to the owners of the restaurant. I didn’t even photograph all of it. If they are willing to neglect this what else are they neglecting?

Item ratings: • Custom bowl: 10/10 • Chicken Caesar wrap: 9/10 • Chipotle mac and cheese: 7/10 • Collagen chia pudding: 10/10 flavor, 2.5/10 value • Protein brownie: 2/10 • Pickup experience: Order marked complete, but still waited 10+ minutes Overall, I'd give Vale in Gainesville 4/5 stars. The custom bowl was easily the highlight. I got it with spicy garlic sweet potato noodles, veggie quinoa, turkey feta meatballs, Mediterranean chicken thigh, broccoli, citrus maple roasted Brussels sprouts, and feta. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. Absolutely no complaints there. The chicken Caesar wrap was also excellent. Great flavor, solid portion, and something I'd definitely order again. The Chipotle mac and cheese had really good flavor, but the noodle texture was not my favorite. It may be an alternative or gluten-free pasta, so that could just be personal preference, but texture-wise it was a miss for me. The collagen chia pudding tasted great, but the portion was very small for a $10 item. Flavor was a 10/10, but the value was disappointing. The protein brownie had decent flavor, but it was so dry that I didn't finish it. Pickup was also a little frustrat

Absolutely love the food here. It's both healthy and delicious, they have really good size portions and a lot of variety and options. It's also very affordably priced. This has very quickly become a new favorite place to order food from.

It was my first time visiting; I went for a birthday lunch. The goal was to try something that expanded my taste palate..in a healthy "tasty" way. The environment was clean,calm and just a vibe..The food and drink options are plenty,portion sizes are AMAZING,and staff are down to earth, patient and attentive.The prices are affordable and reasonable, considering.We dined in,but when I packed up my food, it literally looked like I barely ate anything.I personally had the "super bowl". So I chose broccoli, kale,teriyaki chicken,guac and sweet potato noodles..I tried the ceasar avocado sauce and it was really good! The veggies were so tasty. Surprisingly, the noodles were very flavorful,not too soft and just finger lickin' good. I almost didn't know where to start,what to eat next..because EVERYTHING was simply good! I will surely return,hands down. Please check this tucked away gem out. Its worth it!!

Looking for a healthy alternative for eating out? Post-gym meal? Vale Food Co has you covered. Recently discovered this gem. Tons of healthy and low carb options. Friendly team and quick service. Recently visited and Austin made one of the best bowls I’ve had in a long time with great service and a smile. They offer a discount for students as well with a student ID. Definitely my go to now for a healthy food option and the portions are great. 5 stars well deserved!!
